KNCCI-Nairobi Young Entrepreneurs Challenged to go International
KNCCI-Nairobi Youth in Business Committee Chair, Mr. Jesse Muraya during New Members Induction Forum at IHIT Nairobi.
The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Nairobi County (KNCCI) Youth in Business Committee Chairperson, Mr. Jesse Muraya on 19th May, 2021 at the new KNCCI-Nairobi members’ induction forum challenged youth in business to think beyond borders’ investment.
Noting that the youth constituted over 50% of KNCCI-Nairobi County Chapter membership, the director intimated that the youth are mostly hindered by their own mind-set.
He encouraged the young entrepreneurs to take advantage of the advocacy program within the committee and come together to succeed in business across the border.
The director also remarked that youth in business venture remained untapped and underutilized in the Country.
He also explained to the forum the mandate of KNCCI-Nairobi Youth in Business which is to foster a strong diverse business community and encourage youth participation in business.
Mr. Muraya also noted that the venture brought together young business owners and business professionals to foster business growth through hands-on experience and skills among themselves.
The Director noted that networking remains pivotal in encouraging business growth among the young innovators.
“We took young business owners and professionals to attend the International Youth day event hosted by the United Nations which saw vast networking and international experience by the young business innovators,” he added.
